Henry C. Windell, DMD, PC
Congratulations to Dr. Windell for being elected the District VI Trustee for the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS)! In this capacity he will serve as the AAOMS regional representative for western 9 states. We are very proud of Dr. Windell for his contributions.
Dr. Windell is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon - a specialist who
surgically treats abnormalities of the teeth, jaw and related facial
structures.
Dr. Windell is a 1967 graduate of the
University of Oregon School of Dentistry. He received advanced
specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and anesthesiology
during internship and residency programs at the State University of New
York (SUNY), Buffalo General Hospital.
Dr.
Windell holds licenses in both Oregon and Washington and he has
practiced in Gresham since 1976. He serves on the medical staff of the
downtown Legacy Hospitals as well as Mt. Hood Medical Center.
Long
active in the leadership of his profession, Dr. Windell was president
of the Oregon Dental Association in 2001-2002 and past president of the
Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a member of
the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Western Society of Oral and Maxillofacial
Surgeons, the Oregon Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the
Multnomah Dental Society.
Dr. Windell has been
twice-honored by the oral surgeons of the State of Oregon for his
contributions to the state's standards of practice in oral and
maxillofacial surgery.
